On April 7th , a NEW THINKING flight with columnist Joe Bartuah aboard arrived at The News Pinnacle airbase and began hovering. As we indicated in the initial intro, “Bartuah is on edge about the trend of events in his native Liberia, because he believes that intolerance is not only a disincentive for democracy, but also a harbinger for the unthinkable.” In this second and final part of the column, the New Thinking flight now makes a safe landing:

Just imagine a good citizen seeing a car speeding on the “Wrong Way” of a highway. Obviously, any good citizen–whether a professional police officer or not—seeing such a situation would be on edge. That is why columnist Joe Bartuah is on edge about the trend of events in his native Liberia, because he believes that intolerance is not only a disincentive for democracy, but also a harbinger for the unthinkable. In this two-part series, Bartuah is making a clarion call to all his compatriots to do a soul-searching by speaking out against intolerance and predatory politics, which seem to be fast seeping through the fabrics of the Liberian society:
